Description

Design  software architectures across all custom systems to support the continued expansion of the Veretech business;

Contribute to developing more products and  features which will generate more sales and more revenue per sale.

Devising technical solutions by designing best architectures for reliability; usability; and scalability.

Insuring that new solutions are scalable, integrate well with what is already in place, and support the architectural vision.

Devise leading edge technology solutions and key product selection to make all of our applications more robust and capable of operating ins a seamless integrated environment.

Exploring and recommending new technologies, standards, methodologies.

Evaluating new hardware, development tools and other productivity enhancements.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to derive an architectural vision that will support the company growth ambitions.


• Ability to communicate with business users at all levels as well as software engineers.

• A business acumen to help identify complex business problems using information technology solutions; 


• Experience using system development methodologies;


• Ability to design and architect custom software using object oriented programming and service oriented architectures; 


• Ability to identify and seamlessly implement new technologies that drive new products and business opportunities


• Ability to be effective in a fast paced, high growth, collaborative environment. 


• The ability to train software engineers on new technologies.

Strong appetite to stay current in best practices and new technologies.
